When the homeowners approached us to discuss their vision for their Surrey Farmhouse kitchen renovation, we were thrilled to embark on this journey with them. From the outset, the owners expressed their desire for a kitchen that exudes timeless elegance, embodying the quintessential shaker style while providing ample space for family gatherings and everyday living. With this in mind, our team set out to design a bespoke kitchen that would suit the farmhouse's unique architectural elements, including its wonky walls and rustic beams.
One of the focal points of the renovation was the main 'u' shaped kitchen section, positioned with a window in the middle which provides natural light and Surrey Hills views. We meticulously designed cupboards with classic proportions, seamlessly incorporating essential appliances such as the range cooker, sink, dishwasher, pantry cupboard, and fridge freezer. This thoughtful layout not only enhances the efficiency of meal preparation and cleanup but also creates a welcoming ambiance for the family cooking together.
In the heart of the open-plan space, the kitchen island and generously sized breakfast pantry cupboards serve as a perfect gathering spot for family and friends. Whether it's sharing morning coffee or enjoying a leisurely Sunday brunch, this central hub is a beautiful spot for friends and family to sit and watch the chef, enjoy a drink, or catch up on some emails. Moreover, the island provides a convenient home for a wine fridge and additional storage, ensuring that both form and function are seamlessly integrated into the design.
