Every kitchen that we build is unique, but they all have something in common - they start with a detailed design stage. During the design process we work with you to understand your requirements and to create a vision which we translate into an inspirational design for your dream kitchen.
The first stage of the design process is all about understanding your specific requirements. We find that an initial meeting in your home enables us to understand your requirements first hand. We’ll take measurements and discuss the unique features of your kitchen space with you. We’ll listen to your ideas and introduce examples to formulate an initial view of your design.
We come with photos and samples to show you many options you can choose from. We are always delighted when you have your own mood boards or Pinterest boards to show us the ideas and designs that you love, including furniture styles, handles and lighting. From here we work with you to choose the designs and features you love and work them into a beautiful design for your bespoke kitchen.
If you prefer to visit us at our workshop in Shere we will need a rough floor plan and some photos so we can understand your specific requirements and talk through how we can create a unique kitchen for you. At our workshop you can see our craftsmen at work and inspect the lasting quality and beauty of our handmade bespoke kitchens.
We aim to come back to you within two weeks with a full design pack, which includes:
We’ll give you plenty of time to review the design pack and will respond to any questions or requests for changes promptly. Once you are happy with the design, we will meet for a final design sign-off meeting. At this point we ask for a deposit based on the kitchen quotation price to proceed with the build and installation phases.
“The best place to start is with ‘What’s important to you?’ We work with our clients to carefully think about how they live and develop their kitchen design to make the most of their space and time.
We are all fixated on attention to detail and working towards a stunning and practical design every time It’s got to be a balance with strong functionality supporting a stunning design.”
