The Albury Kitchen is a one off, bespoke kitchen created for a couple downsizing in the Surrey Hills. They needed their new kitchen to have an open plan feel with lots of light and a space large enough for lunch with their children and grandchildren and dinner with their friends.

ABOUT THIS BESPOKE SHERE KITCHEN

The house originally had a small galley kitchen so a large extension was required to create a big 'L' shape for the dining area, a living area with a lovely Chesterfield leather sofa and a traditional Shaker style kitchen.

The completed kitchen fulfils the couple's wish list :

traditional Shaker style cabinetry - simple, functional and easy to clean
lots of cupboard space to keep work surfaces clear and clean and to give a home to all of the special bowls and glassware they've collected over the years
a wide and long prep area so family and friends can help from the living area
double sink with food waste and grooved draining areas overlooking Surrey Hills
calming colour scheme with dramatic and colourful granite worktop colours.
